The Learning Partnership’s Entrepreneurial Adventure Program has been designed to instill a sense of entrepreneurial spirit in children from kindergarten to Grade 12. We knew we wanted to raise money and awareness about epilepsy, but we hadn't decided on how we were going to do that. We split into groups of four or five and we wrote down all of our ideas on what the venture should be. We came up with pages of ideas and we picked our top favourties and agreed to take a vote on which project we should do.
The venture project we chose as a class is called the Purple Palooza. We decided on the Purple Palooza because the colour for epilepsy is purple, and palooza? Well, we don't really have a reason for that.
